Kik Hoekjen (ET)

Hey there! I’m Kik Hoekjen, a third year Bachelors Mechanical Engineering student, that has recently finished a board year at W.S.G. Isaac Newton. During my board year I’ve been confronted with the various sustainable policies currently in place at the UT, ánd the fact that these could use more ambition and student perspective. By discussing these issues at the highest level of policy-making I want these issues to remain a key talking point for the university. Additionally, I’m a very strong advocate for student activism and the rich student culture here in Enschede, and will do everything in my power to support this, especially considering threat posed by the potential changes to tuition fees.
